The Ferrari F40 is a supercar produced by Ferrari from 1987 to 1992. It was developed as the successor to the 288 GTO and was the last Ferrari built under the direction of Enzo Ferrari.
The F40 was a technological masterpiece, equipped with a number of innovative features, including:
- A 2.9-liter turbocharged V8 engine that produced 478 hp
- A carbon fiber monocoque chassis
- An active aerodynamic system
- A six-speed manual transmission
